Alden Richards wins the Best Actor at the 29th Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Television on Thursday, December 4, 2015.
Alden Richards, half of the popular AlDub love team, won the 2015 PMPC Best Actor award for playing the role of Jose Rizal in GMA mini-series Illustrado.
The 23-year-old GMA actor beats ABS-CBN actors Daniel Padilla, Jericho Rosales, Paulo Avelino, Eddie Garcia, Gerald Anderson and Piolo Pascual.
“Before I leave this stage, I would like to leave you this quote… Happy is the person who learns to wait as he prays and never loses his patience because in God’s time is the perfect time,” Alden said during his acceptance speech.
