Maine Mendoza sends a letter to her 21-year-old self: 'I am so proud of you.'

An excerpt from Maine Mendoza's letter to her 21-year-old self: 'You didn't lose hope in waiting that you will truly discover what you are meant for in this world; that 'someday' you were talking about a year ago has arrived— God's right time has finally arrived.'

“God's right time has finally arrived.”
This is what Maine Mendoza wrote to her 21-year-old self.
On her 21st birthday, the Eat Bulaga! star and Dubsmash Queen gave herself a tap on the back for fulfilling her dream to find her niche in the world.
“Before this day ends, I would like to greet myself a happy happy birthday.
“I am so glad you have successfully gone through 20 years of your life without actually giving up on finding what your life's purpose is.
“You didn't lose hope in waiting that you will truly discover what you are meant for in this world; that 'someday' you were talking about a year ago has arrived– God's right time has finally arrived.”
Maine was unexpectedly catapulted to stardom when she was cast as Yaya Dub on Eat Bulaga!'s 'Kalyeserye' segment opposite Alden Richards, back in July last year.
Since then, she bagged a major role in a box-office movie, fielded countless endorsements, and won recognition from various award-giving bodies.
Looking back at her accomplishments, Maine mused, “It's crazy and amazing how much things can change and happen within a year.
“Everything is finally falling into place and it couldn't get any better at this moment.”
With a brand new year ahead of her, Maine gives herself five maxims to live by:
1. I hope you get to enjoy and keep up with everything this 'new' world has to offer.

4. You have proved to yourself that you are capable of doing things you thought you could never do.

5. Never doubt on yourself always always always keep your head high.
