Thousands of AlDub fans filled the Trinoma Activity Center in Quezon City for the launch of Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards as ambassadors for the local lifestyle brand, Bench.
Bench formally introduced Alden as the new endorser of their latest hair styling product, while Maine launched her very own perfume line.
Maine expressed her gratitude to Bench for fulfilling a lifelong dream. "Ang pinaka hindi ako makapaniwala is nagkaroon ako ng sariling perfume line, siyempre under Bench 'yan. So, sobrang thank you sa Bench, it's a dream come true I swear."
The Maine-inspired scents made it to the headlines, recently, after reports that the Bench store branch in Trinoma sold all of it in just 15 minutes.
The Eat Bulaga superstar still couldn't believe that her perfume line was such a huge hit. "Akala ko hindi totoo, tapos until nakita ko na 'yung Bench na mismo 'yung nag-post na legit pala talaga, so grabe!"
Ben Chan, the founder of the local clothing empire Bench, explained why they chose AlDub as their newest celebrity endorsers. He explained that both stars are very down-to-earth and are exceptional models for the Filipino Youth.
"They are very traditional Filipino. I think every young Filipino should look up to them. Kasi masyado silang down-to-earth even if they are successful and their values are very good. It’s no brainer na kunin sila di ba."
AlDuBarkads should also lookforward to the love team's next big project after the Pambansang Bae Alden Richards hinted about a special surprise they are preparing in time for their one year anniversary.
