Maine Mendoza revealed the significance of the identical puka shell bracelets that she and Alden Richards got from their Boracay trip.
In a video uploaded by Instagram user aboutaldub16, the actress-host noted how she feels Alden’s presence through the accessory.
“Special ‘to sa ‘min. ‘Pag suot ko siya, feeling ko ano, like magkasama kami. Parang ganun,” she said, and laughed afterwards.
On a similar note, she gave Alden a strange friendship bracelet in the form of Scotch tape.
“Kahapon, pinaglalaruan niya 'yung braso ko, tapos naglagay siya ng Scotch tape… [sabi niya] ‘pag ‘di ko daw ‘to suot ngayon, friendship over na daw… Naliligo ako, suot ko ‘to. Binalutan ko ng plastic,” the Kapuso actor shared during today’s Eat Bulaga broadcast.
Maine who initially laughed at her love team partner expressed appreciation for the gesture.
“Uy friends pa rin tayo… Vina-value mo talaga 'yung friendship natin, Alden,” she noted.
